Bona has developed a specially designed Dust Care unit for sanding machines, and which is placed in a trailer outside the building. The sanding dust, which otherwise is usually an irritant to both the machine operator and the customers, is avoided by vacuuming the dust. It is a portable vacuum cleaner, much more powerful than a normal vacuum cleaner, which can be used in environments where the demand for cleanliness is very high. The dust collection is self-contained, which means that the dust is not exposed to air even when it is time to change bags.

The anti-static properties allow the dust to release more easily from the abrasive paper than do traditional abrasive papers. Bona Abrasives 8300 Antistatic reduces the electrostatic charge caused by the friction between the abrasive paper and the floor, and the sanding thus becomes more much efficient.
