JSC "Vilkonda" opens the biggest in Baltic States specialized salon of wooden floors «Vilniaus Parketas»

Natural wooden floors get the increasing popularity. They are not only beautiful and give to the house a cosiness, but also are appreciated for their ecological compatibility and friendliness to people and environment. More and more people are choosing timber floors. The demand is increasing, so also increases the quantity of offers. Today timber floors can be chosen as from solid, as from multilayered construction, in the market there is an increasing quantity of new kinds of wood, technologies and other novelties. Actually it is possible to make a choice, but all it takes away a lot of time since not always everything can be found in one place, thereby at once to compare and make a choice. Therefore on March, 5th will be opened the biggest not only in Lithuania, but also in all Baltic States specialized salon of wooden floors «Vilniaus Parketas», which concept is to provide a possibility to the client to choose floors from the greatest assortment as it is possible. The new salon «Vilniaus Parketas» will be located in Vilnius, in the newly built residential and office complex «Kamanė», on Ukmergės street 369A. It will surprise the visitors not only with its impressive area, but also with the assortment of the offered production. In total it will be exhibited more than 260 various kinds of timber floors, which will be located at the salon so that it was convenient to make a choice. The exposition area reaches 700 sq. m. Samples of wooden floors will be located everywhere – both on a floor, and on walls, the playfulness to the salon will be given by "trees" from wooden floors.

Floors can be chosen from various kinds and designs. In salon on sale there will be an oak and ash solid parquet and solid parquet boards produced by JSC "Vilkonda". For those persons who are interested to buy floors of a multilayer design, we can offer the Finnish 3 layer or multilayer parquet boards «Parla Floor», preeminent with the Finnish quality and high standards of sorting. Also on sale will be available 3 layer parquet boards «Universal Flooring», made in Malaysia, which have been liked by Lithuanians some time ago. These parquet boards have especially good ratio of the price and quality and are corresponding to the European standards. Lovers of exotic floors will be interested by solid parquet boards of the Chinese company "Shengda" which are made from various kinds of exotic wood – a bamboo, merbau etc. The greatest novelty in salon – multilayer parquet board’s panels of the Austrian company TEKA, creating a look of an art parquet.

The salon’s rest zone is a place for quiet reflexion over the needs or slowly to choose floors from the several liked variants. Whereas children will not disturb adults and will not bore, there is created the special zone intended for games and entertainments for them. So clients only have to choose floors and forget about all cares! Having chosen floors, at once it is possible to order the services of the equipment which are provided by our professional floor layers.

One more novelty of new salon «Vilniaus Parketas» - «the shop in the shop». This place is intended for the floor layers where they can buy materials and accessories for the floor equipment. A long time JSC "Vilkonda" co-operates with the Swedish company "BONA" which already almost 100 years creates and makes products for the equipment, repair and care of wooden floors. Other separate zone intended for floor layers and contractors – sanding machines BONA. Here it will be possible to try and get, or to lease sanding machines and to buy abrasives. Also in salon «Vilniaus Parketas» you will find skirting boards and profiles from the natural veneer which manufacturer is the Italian company "Pedross", both German metal profiles which manufacturer is company "Küberit". The choice of these accessories is really great, therefore each created design can be finished, using possibilities of these profiles. This salon opened by JSC "Vilkonda" is not the first in Vilnius. In 2004 in Vilnius, on Konstitucijos av. 20, the first specialized salon of wooden floors «Vilniaus Parketas» was opened, and one year ago one more salon «Vilniaus Parketas» has opened the door on Ulonų street 3. During all existence, since the 1991, JSC "Vilkonda" keeps strict specialization in its area – the wooden floors and all that concerned with wooden floors. The word “all” by itself actually contains not a few – the manufacturing of the solid parquet, both wholesale and retail sale of wooden floors and materials necessary for the equipment and care of them, services of installation of wooden floors.
